In the Quirimbas Archipelago, along the northern coast of Mozambique.
From 5 to 14 days, along routes with variable stops and duration, scheduled or tailor-made, with transfers in dhow, a typical local sailing boat.
Ibo Island Lodge, a historic lodge with 14 suites with private veranda and en-suite bathroom, on Ibo Island and a light mobile camp with “dome” tents, shared long drop bathroom and bucket shower on the islands of Matemo and Quirimba.
Diving, snorkeling, dolphin and whale watching, dhow and kayak excursions, beach picnics, nature walks, cultural visits and fishing.
The Quirimbas National Park protects the coastal forests, the coral reefs and the marine ecosystem of the coast and of the southern islands of the archipelago. In open waters it is possible to observe dolphins and, from July to November, humpback whales. Sea turtles and a large variety of coral fish swim in the reefs around the islands. Over 250 species of birds nest on Ibo Island.
