Okavango Delta

A special camp, small and intimate, located in one of the furthermost reaches of the Okavango Delta. Under the same ownership are Duba Plains Camp and the exclusive Duba Plains Suite.

Position

In the northern end of the Okavango Delta, inside a 300 km² private concession within the Kwedi Reserve.

Rooms

5 expedition-style tents with all comforts, each with private veranda and en-suite bathroom.

Activities

Day and night game drives in 4×4 open vehicles and boat safaris when water levels permit.

Wildlife

Large herds of buffalo, followed by prides of lions, concentrate in the floodplains. Many elephants and several species of antelope, among them the omnipresent red lechwe. Channels and lagoons are inhabited by crocodiles, hippos and hundreds of bird species.

A wildlife connoissuer’s getaway: privacy, flexibility, passionate guides and extraordinary encounters with wildlife. It is the only camp in the concession, offering its guests the opportunity for excellent, very private sightings. The area is renowned for its lion and buffalo populations, and the base of many famous wildlife documentaries by the filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert.
