In Buhoma, deep in the forest at the western border of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Wildlife

The Bwindi rainforest includes 400 plant species and it is home to 350 bird species and 120 mammal species. Among them there are several primate species and most notably the mountain gorilla, with a population of about 400 individuals. Some antelope species and the rare forest elephant can also be observed in the park.

Why

The camp has only ten luxury tents for a very private experience. Due to its unique location, it is frequently visited by gorilla families. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: the ancient rainforest and the exciting encounter with mountain gorillas. The camp offers the opportunity to interact with the local Batwa Pygmies and to visit the Bwindi Community Hospital.
