Mana Pools National Park

A luxury tented camp set right on the banks of the Zambezi, with spectacular views over the river and often visited by elephants. Under the same ownership the smaller and more exclusive Little Ruckomechi.

Position

Under the shade of big acacia on the banks of the Zambezi River, within a private concession in the North-western corner of Mana Pools National Park.

Rooms

10 spacious and beautifully decorated tents, among them 2 for families, all with private veranda and en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a swimming pool.

Activities

Day and night game drives in 4×4 open vehicles, walking safaris, boat and canoe safaris, fishing.

Wildlife

The banks of the Zambezi River are home to elephants, buffalo and several species of antelope, while the river hosts hundreds of hippo and crocodiles. Lions, leopards and packs of African wild dogs are also present, though more difficult to see. More than 350 bird species have been identified.
