Among the gardens of Satemwa Tea Estate, in the Thyolo district.

5 suites individually designed, that all have en-suite bathroom. The swimming pool and golf course of the adjacent Thyolo Sports Club are available for guests.

Plantation tours and tea tasting, nature walks, horse riding, quad biking and mountain biking.

The area provides ideal habitat for a variety of bird species such as the rare Thyolo Alethe, that can be spotted in the nearby montane forests.

The house and its elegant suites are full of historical character and have an authentic colonial feel. First established in 1923 and still one of the country’s most respected tea producers, Satemwa boasts rolling tea plantations and stunning views as far as the eye can see. The estate offers plenty of outdoor activities and the tea tasting is an experience not to be missed.
