Nyerere National Park

A “home-like” safari camp designed for comfort, with excellent guiding, located in the highlands of the park.

On a hill in the highlands area of the Nyerere National Park.

8 stone and thatched bandas, each with private veranda and en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a private villa, a treehouse and a swimming pool.

Game drives in 4×4 open vehicles, boat safaris and walking safaris.

Big herds of elephants and buffalo, giraffe, zebra and several species of antelope roam in the plains, while plenty of hippos, crocodiles and water birds can be found in the Rufiji River. Predators are abundant and include lions, leopards and about a third of the African wild dogs remaining in the world.

It is more of a home, private and intimate, in the middle of the African bush. Set in a privileged location in the highlands of the park. The Nyerere National Park is the largest reserve in Tanzania, featuring an incredible diversity of habitats and wildlife. One of the best places in Africa where to see the endangered African wild dog. Walking safaris are the speciality of the camp.
