On the banks of the Mwagusi River in the Mwagusi Valley, in the southern part of Ruaha National Park.


6 spacious, art-deco style tents with private veranda and en-suite bathroom.


Day and night game drives in 4×4 open vehicles and walking safaris.


The park is home to about 80 species of mammals, including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, both greater and lesser kudu, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog. It features the largest population of elephants in Tanzania and about 10% of the world’s lion population. Over 500 bird species have been identified.

The Mwaguzi Valley is famed for its rich game viewing, with big herds of elephants and prides of twenty and more lions. The area makes for some of the best walking safaris in Africa.
