Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Queen Elizabeth National Park

An old coffee processing plant converted into an elegant lodge with contemporary style on the edge of the park.

Position

On the North-eastern border of Queen Elizabeth National Park, overlooking the Kyambura Gorge.

Rooms

8 timber and brick bandas, each with en-suite bathroom and private veranda. Facilities include a swimming pool.

Activities

Game drives in 4×4 open vehicles, boat cruises on Kazinga Channel, chimpanzee trekking, local community and coffee plantations visits.

Wildlife

The Queen Elizabeth National Park hosts 95 mammal species, including 10 primate species, and more than 600 bird species. Elephants, buffalo and several antelope species roam the Ishasha plains, where lion and leopard can also be observed. The Kazinga Channel is home to hippo and crocodiles, while chimpanzees and other primates live in the Kyambura Gorge forest.
