Position

In the north-west of Manda Island, that with the islands of Lamu and Pate form the Lamu Archipelago.

16 spacious cottages built and decorated with local materials, each with private veranda and en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a swimming pool.

Activities

Scuba diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, wind surfing and wake boarding, sailing, fly fishing and deep sea fishing. Kayak, dhow and motor boat excursions. Game drives, scenic flights by plane, visit to the local Swahili villages and to the town of Lamu.

Wildlife

The waters around the island are home to whales, dolphins, marlin, sailfish, dorado, barracuda, sea turtles and a multitude of reef fish. In the vegetation along the coast and in the interior hide buffalo, bushbucks, small carnivores and many bird species.
