Zambia

Where to stay

Zambia is a truly wild destination, still not very touristic, and most of camps and lodges reflect this nature. The South Luangwa National Park, for instance, is renowned its bushcamps with a rustic and adventurous feel, and for the walking safaris with overnight in fly-camp, where you sleep under a simple mosquito net and millions of stars. This does not mean that who is looking for luxury will be disappointed: camps like Chinzombo and Sausage Tree offer standard of service at the level of the best accommodations in Africa. Differing from other countries, most of Zambia’s camps and lodges are not based in in private reserves or concessions, but inside national parks, where walking safaris and night game drives are allowed. The expert management of the camps and the high level of guiding are also key-factors of hospitality in Zambia and contribute to make it unique.
