Lake Malawi

A romantic barefoot luxury lodge set on a beautiful beach of Likoma, a remote island in the north-eastern part of the lake.

On Likoma Island, in the north-eastern part of Lake Malawi.

Rooms

7 rooms and 5 villas of different sizes and individually designed. All of them have en-suite bathroom and private veranda, villas have also a plunge pool. Facilities include a spa and a dive center.

Activities

Swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, kayaking and sailing, water skiing and wake boarding, quad biking and mountain biking, visits to the local village and to the St. Peter’s Cathedral.

Wildlife

The lake waters are home to more than 1,000 closely related, but different species of cichlid fishes, most of which are endemic.

Why

The lodge is luxurious, romantic, quirky and totally unique. The lodge employs local staff and supports community projects such as the Katundu Textile. Lake Malawi is a paradise for snorkeling, scuba diving and water sports enthusiasts. The relax offered by the lodge and by the remote Likoma Island, but also the variety of activities and the cultural attractions of the island.
