Around the edges of two lagoons shaded by ebony and mahogany trees, 5 minutes drive from the main entrance of the South Luangwa National Park.

18 thatched chalets, among them 2 suites and 3 family chalets, each with private veranda and en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a spa and a swimming pool.

Activities

Night and day game drives in 4×4 open vehicles. Walking safaris and visits to the local village on request.

Wildlife

The South Luangwa is home to over 60 mammal species including 2 endemic species: Thornicroft’s giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest. The park is renowned for its high leopard concentration. Lion, spotted hyena and a good number of African wild dog are also present. The Luangwa River is densely populated by hippo and crocodile. More than 400 bird species have been identified.
