Position

On the banks of the Sabie River in the Lion Sands private concession within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a private reserve of about 650 km² on the western border of Kruger National Park.

12 luxury rooms, 6 superior luxury rooms and 2 river suites, all with private viewing deck and en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a swimming pool.

Activities

Day and night game drives in 4×4 open vehicles, walking safaris, stargazing, treehouse sleep-out and visit to the local Shangana village.

Wildlife

The reserve is known for its high concentration of game, including the “Big 5” and particularly the elusive leopard, spotted frequently. The area is also home to giraffe, zebra, a variety of antelope species and more than 500 bird species.
