An extraordinary fly-in safari over the dunes, the shipwrecks and the other wonders of the legendary "Skeleton Coast", with overnight stay in small private camps.
Where

In the Skeleton Coast, part of the Namib Desert, and in the Damaraland and Kunene regions.

Itinerary

From 4 to 6 days along four scheduled routes with aircraft transfers for groups of maximum 8 people.

Accommodation

There are 3 private tented camps, all with private veranda and en-suite bathroom, located in different areas: on the Ugab River in Damaraland, in the Hoarusib River valley and on the Kunene River, at the border with Angola.

Activities

Flight safaris with different activities on the ground including game drives in 4×4 vehicles, nature walks and cultural visits.

Wildlife

Known as the “living desert”, the Namib supports a fragile ecosystem of plants, insects, reptiles and mammals that, like the oryx, have been able to adapt to extreme conditions. Further north, in the Kunene valleys, desert elephants continuously move in search of food and water. Along the Skeleton Coast there are also numerous colonies of Cape fur seals and it is possible to meet the rare brown hyena.

Why

The tented camps and the aircrafts fleet are owned by the Schoemann family, three generations of pilots and deep connoisseurs of Namibia. The wonders of the Namibian coast: from the dunes of Sossusvlei to the shipwrecks of the Skeleton Coast, from the seal colony of Cape Cross to the desert elephants of Kunene. A unique safari that combines the flying experience with some must-do activities, including the visit to a Himba village.
