Wolwedans Boulders Camp

Namib Desert

A tented camp for adventurers immersed in the desert of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Dunes Lodge, Dune Camp, Private Camp and Mountain View Suite are also located in the reserve.

At the foot of a giant kopje in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve, a private reserve of 2,000 km2 bordering the Namib Desert, 125 km South-East of Sossusvlei.

5 tents raised on wooden decks with large terrace and en-suite bathroom.

Nature drives in 4×4 open vehicles, nature walks, quad biking, horse riding, scenic flights in small planes and hot-air balloons.

Oryx and springboks are the most common species of antelope, but the reserve also hosts kudus, zebras, brown and spotted hyenas, jackals and bat-eared foxes. More than 170 bird species, including the dune lark, the only true endemic species of Namibia.

A magic camp, intimate and elegant, with high standard service. The history of Wolwedans and the NamibRand Nature Reserve: a virtuous example of ecotourism, sustainability and commitment to conservation. The life of the desert and its creatures against the background of some of the most beautiful landscapes in Namibia.
