Kruger Bordering Reserves

Luxury thatched cottages nestled among a forest in the Ngala Private Game Reserve. Under the same ownership is Ngala Tented Camp and Ngala Treehouse, for more adventurous spirits.

Position

In a forest of mopane and tamboti trees within the Ngala Private Game Reserve, a reserve of about 60 km² on the western border of Kruger National Park.

Rooms

20 classic thatched cottages, including 3 for families, and one spacious family suite. Each of them has private veranda and en-suite bathroom.

Activities

Day and night game drives in 4×4 open vehicles, walking safaris, tracking adventures, photographic safaris and rhino notching.

Wildlife

The reserve is home to the “Big 5” and is particularly known for its elephants, rhinos and buffalo, as well as its packs of African wild dog. With its name meaning “lion” in Shangaan language, Ngala supports several prides of these powerful cats. Leopard and cheetah are also often encountered.
