Maasai Mara National Reserve

An historical camp of the Maasai Mara, with a team of great guides, ideally located to witness the great wildebeest migration.

Position

On the banks of the Talek River, near the confluence with the Mara River, in the north of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Rooms

9 spacious tents, including two for families, each with large veranda and en-suite bathroom.

Activities

Game drives in 4×4 open vehicles and scenic flights in hot-air balloons. Walking safaris and visit to the local Maasai village, both out of the reserve.

Wildlife

The reserve hosts all of the “Big Five” and many species of antelope. It’s renowned for the concentration of big cats, including lions, leopards and cheetahs. Wildebeests, zebras and Thomson’s gazelles are present throughout the year, but more numerous when the “Great Migration” reaches the Maasai Mara.
