The South Luangwa is home to over 60 mammal species including 2 endemic species: Thornicroft’s giraffe and Cookson’s wildebeest. The park is renowned for its high leopard concentration. Lion, spotted hyena and a good number of African wild dog are also present. The Luangwa River is densely populated by hippo and crocodile. More than 400 bird species have been identified.


A small and intimate camp with 4 tents only, with a contemporary style and a highly personalized service. The remote location in the south of the park, overlooking a lagoon always teeming wildlife.
